Field Trip

The cost for students, parents, and any other family members is $10.00 each (includes a small pumpkin).
Children under 3 are free.

  • Dress Code: Students should wear their uniform shirts. In lieu of uniform pants/skirts, boys may wear long denim pants and girls may wear knee length denim skirts. Everyone else joining should follow thew school’s dress code and modesty standards.
  • Lunch: Everyone will need a picnic style lunch with drinks. -We will be outside all day, so please send enough water. There is a general store with souvenirs and other food options at farm.
  • Transportation: Buss will load at 8:15 a.m. and leave at 8:30 a.m. Family members who wish to drive should follow the bus. We have to all enter together after wrist bands have been received. We plan to return around 1:45-2:00 p.m. Student are free to go home at that time.
  • Before & Aftercare: Before & aftercare will be available.
  • Payments: Signed permission slips and all monies are due by Friday, October 24, 2025. Please turn into your child’s teacher. Checks accepted for entrance fees only and should be should be made payable to Faith Baptist Academy.
    *Any spending money sent in for small children should be cash. Please place in a Ziplock bag clearly labeled with the child’s name and amount. (Check with your child’s teacher for any further instructions).

First Field Trip of the Summer!

We will be going to the Mississippi Aquarium on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
Cost will be $15 per student and will include transportation and aquarium admission.
If sending spending money, put it in a Ziploc bag and write child’s name and amount on the outside.

After we finish at the Aquarium, we will have a picnic lunch at Jones Park and cool off in the splash pad.

All children should wear their blue camp shirts. Water shoes or waterproof sandals would be the best footwear since we are going to the splash pad after lunch. They will be wearing their swimsuits underneath

Please make sure the children arrive by 8:00 am so they have time to change into their swimwear. We will eat our morning snack at 8:45 and load the bus promptly @ 9:15 am, pulling out @ by 9:30 am. We should return by 3:30 pm. (No additional charge for ½ day campers)

Permission slips and payments are due no later than 6/17/25.
We will need a separate permission slip for each child.

Free Summer Meals

Summer Day Campers and any child under 18

Harrison County’s Mobile Dining Trailer will be here on June 16th -27th From 11:00 am -1:00 pm. For more information, check out their website. Campers will still be allowed to bring their lunch, if that is preferred.

Important details below.

Come join us on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 for the 2025 Graduation and Awards Ceremony. This will be a time for us to recognize student achievements from all grade levels,. All are welcome, so invite friends and family. The ceremony will start at 7:00 pm in the main auditorium with a reception to follow in our fellowship hall.

And don’t forget. If all tuition and aftercare fees have been paid, you can get report cards from your child’s teacher. They will be available after the ceremony.

School Pictures

School Pictures will be taken on
Tuesday, 3/11/25

Students will have the option to dress up (not down).
If preferred, students may wear their school uniform. Please remember, the school dress code must be followed with either choice.

Cap and gown photos for our Senior and K5 class, as well as any needed make-up photos, will be taken on Tuesday, 3/18/25.

The process will be slightly different than in years past. Students will be photographed individually; however, there will not be any sibling photos available. The photographer will be emailing each family with their edited photo(s). You will have all rights to use and print as needed. All students and staff will be photographed on the assigned day(s) with no upfront costs for anyone.

School and Daycare Closures

Due to inclement winter weather, the school and daycare will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, January 21 & 22, 2025. School and Daycare will operating normal hours on Monday, January 20, 2025. Stay warm and safe!
